Shooting Incident Reconstruction/Officer-Involved Shooting Investigation is a 5-day school designed for officers, investigators, criminalists, firearms examiners, shooting review team members, internal affairs officers, police administrators, prosecutors and others with limited or no experience in the investigation of shooting incidents. A review of basic firearms related topics will be presented to ensure all participants have a fundamental understanding of the principles necessary to conduct a proper investigation and/or reconstruction of a shooting incident.

Techniques introduced during lectures are further developed through use of hands-on, classroom exercises. Case studies and shooting range demonstrations add additional facets to the lecture topics.
